Today’s Caring Tip: Staying Organized

When I’m struggling to stay focused because I have too many worries, then I easily can fall into a disorganized state. I’ve found it helpful to spend a few moments every morning writing out my To Do list. I am purposeful about the writing part. I find comfort taking pen to paper. The writing -- the up-and-down of my cursive handwriting -- feels almost meditative. I can focus on my thoughts and my writing which helps to bring back some control. I also find it so empowering to take my pen and cross out the tasks I’ve completed.

For me, staying organized starts in the morning with my paper and pen.
