Passing
Michelle
inspired to write this poem and was honored when it was read at her service and printed in the program.
Passing
It is said that when one passes over
Surpassing limits of this realm, this place.
Those who cherished, loved and knew her.
Hold, inside their hearts, an empty space.
And though we know that we will see her
On the other side and by His grace.
We will see her, hear her voice and know her
Around the thrown when we will see our savior’s face.
When she was here with us we called her.
Wife, mother, sister, auntie, friend.
We will embrace her in the future,
In that happy time that has no end.
And at that time the Lord will fill in
The spaces where we hide our frozen tears.
We’ll live in peace and joy and gladness.
In that land of no more doubt and no more fears.
