Recharge

Chris
ever. I've been tired, cranky from the heat, and stressed out. On Friday night, I ran around trying to find my cell phone, even running out to my car in my nightgown, only to find it was sitting right beside the purse I had dumped upside down in my efforts to find the phone. Did I mention I was tired?

With Mike and my uncle both on the mend I decided I needed to mend myself and recharge my emotional batteries. On Saturday I decided to take in the farmer's market and it was the best decision I could have made. The sun was shining, I found a parking spot fairly close (it was even shaded), and the atmosphere was what I needed. I treated myself to a fresh, non-commerically made, polish sausage on a bun with sauerkraut for breakfast and washed it down with a smoothy. I was able to find the juiciest peaches which became a lunchtime snack as well as corn that went with the bbq chicken for supper. Along with the food, I found my piece of mind. I didn't have to be anywhere in particular and no one needed me. I made the effort to continue this when I got home and hung out on the deck with a bowl of sliced peaches, a fresh pretzel and a newspaper. I even found the time to do The NY Times crossword. I should do this again next week.

Thank you both. Looks like I will be hanging out with my sis in law next Saturday so maybe hit the bigger market in Edmonton. Either way we have promised each other a relaxing day because we've been operating at full speed ahead.
