Send a Gratitude Card for Our Day of Service

Send a Gratitude Card for Our Day of Service

Because not everyone who wants to attend our Second Annual National Caregiving Conference can attend our conference, we're doing our best to bring our conference to those who can't make it person. For instance, we're broadcasting two full days of sessions you can watch from the comfort of your home (learn more and register).

We’re also collaborating with Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago for a Day of Service. We’ll caravan to the church on the morning of November 12 to bring goodie bags for homebound family caregivers and to distribute information about resources and support to those attending service.

We'd love for you to be a part of our Day of Service. And, it's easy to join us -- just send a card expressing your thanks for a family caregiver to:

Trinity United Church of Christ
c/o Deacon Jiles Taylor-George, 11/12 Day of Service
400 West 95th Street
Chicago, Illinois 60628

We'll include your card in a goodie bag for a homebound family caregiver. When you send a card, you let a family caregiver know he or she is appreciated and supported.

Your card can include some information about your caregiving story as well as your well-wishes for the family caregiver and his or her caree. While you may not know the name of your card recipient, you'll know he or she will be touched your gratefulness and thoughtfulness.

Please plan to have your card arrive by November 7.

Questions? Please post your questions in our comments section, below.

Thanks so much for sending a special act of kindness that will make our Day of Service truly memorable for those who receive your support.

This is a wonderful idea and what a meaningful way for those of us are attending virtually or unable to attend at all to participate. Will get my card in the mail tomorrow.
