Well I haven't blogged in awhile.

While most of you know I moved in with my daughter. She tries to do everything for me, sometimes too much.

I've been very blessed with my children.

However there is always one that hinders things. My son Michael didn't want to come for Christmas Eve and so my daughter got upset and now they don't speak. He really does think it's all about him. I just go along and it's whatever for me. Come, don't come, your choice. But it does put stress on things.

So I've come to the conclusion on settling. It doesn't do anyone any good to be upset and you can't control what someone else wants to do or doesn't want to do.

I'm doing fairly well, keeping busy or at least trying and settling in at my daughter's although there are times when I just want to go away and not come back.

Of course I talk to Tony all the time as if he was still here. Not sure if that is good or bad but works for me.

So my settling is still in progress with lots of things going on. Plans for a trip to Italy, summer vacation and day-to-day stuff. You all know how that is.

Wishing everyone well and know it all works out in the end.

Prays for all.

I'm sure Tony is glad to hear your voice and cherishes your conversations. He probably relies on your company. I imagine he is adjusting as well. Don't forget to bring him with you to Italy!\r\n\r\nRegarding family and sibling issues; I have my own. We're technically speaking, but we rarely communicate effectively. I've been trying to facilitate better interactions between all us, but it's a work in progress.

@kaz thank you for keeping us up to date. I love how you've decided to just roll with the punches and not get worked up about what others do (or don't do). Can't wait to hear more about the trip to Italy!

Hey Kaz! luv hearing from you.\r\nI sure agree with what you said \"It doesn’t do anyone any good to be upset and you can’t control what someone else wants to do or doesn’t want to do.\" When I practice that, things go so much better.\r\nPlans of a trip to thats just plain AWESOME!\r\nWishing you continued steps with settleing and keep us posted.

I think it's awesome that you talk with Tony. \r\n\r\nI'm so sorry about the upset in the family. I just can't understand how these situations escalate so quickly. It happens in my family, too, and the impact on everyone is awful. Two form a rift but the family suffers.\r\n\r\nThanks for keeping us posted, Kaz. Keep writing. :)
