Survey Request: Caregiving and Your House of Worship

Denise
bible-177128_640A colleague, Dr. Benjamin Mast, would like to know about your experiences with your house of worship. He's conducting research to better understand how your house of worship has helped (or not helped) in your experience caring for a family member with dementia.

The survey details are as follows:

Do you take care of someone with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia? Are you a member of a church or faith community? Have you received any help from your church or faith community? We would like to hear more about your experiences.

Researchers in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Louisville are conducting a study on people’s experiences with Alzheimer’s disease in the church. The study involves survey questions that you can complete in either a written format or an in-person interview. These questions ask about your experiences taking care of a person with dementia, how your church or faith community has helped you, and how the experience of caregiving has impacted your faith. The interview can range from 20 to 60 minutes in length.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Dr. Benjamin Mast at the
University of Louisville, (502) 852-3280 or b.mast@louisville.edu.
