Tell Us: I Hate When...

leo-350690_640...someone sends me unsolicited advice that's not applicable to my situation.

I also hate when my parents overreact to problems that don't exist. For instance, they'll often look out the window and anxiously say to me, "Where's your car?" My car will be parked in front of the neighbor's but they won't look up and down the block, just directly out the window. I went through this yesterday--once with my mom and once with my dad. Both times, they both frantically asked me, "Where's your car?" Honestly, this exhausts me. And, I hate it. (We also live in a very safe suburb--I've never read about a stolen car, either in broad daylight or the dark night, in the local paper. And, they've been doing this for 20 years and never, ever once have I misplaced my car.)

What about you? What do you hate?

I hated it when my mother, in rehab at the time, told me the aide questioned her need to go to the bathroom by saying \"the other girl just took you\", but when I said I would tell management, she asked me not to. (I'm sure because she was afraid of how they would treat her and that you just don't do that!)

I hate when people want to give you advise, yet no nothing about the situation.

I hate when people think you do nothing and are free all day to do what they think you should do with out understanding what you are actually doing!

I hate it when my feelings are sacrificed so that the relationship between my brother and mother can be salvaged.\r\n\r\nI hate it when I am not given a chance to speak my mind in a complete sentence or coherent thought without being interrupted.\r\n\r\nI hate it when others constantly ask what is wrong with me if I am not in a talkative or \"upbeat\" mood and it is automatically assumed I am in a BAD mood. \r\n\r\nI hate it when I do my best to be a friend to others, yet it does not seem to reciprocate.\r\n\r\nAnd most of all, I hate it when I am angry.
