Tell Us: What Would Be Your Lucky Break?

Denise
Shamrock_Good_LuckSometimes, we do what we can. And, then we wait. We wait for the lucky break.

The lucky break could be you get a referral to that doctor you know can help. The lucky break could be that the home health agency sends you a good aide, an aide your caree likes. A lucky break could be your caree gets just the right help. A lucky break could be you get time away at just the right time and at just the right price. A lucky break could be that your employer adds flex time. A lucky break could be that you find a part-time job close to home.

So, please share in our comment section: What would be your luck break?

I just love this!

My lucky break was finding Caregiving.com when I was searching for information on Caregiving and Blogging. I had no idea I would find an entire extended family, filled with comfort and love, all because of the great website that Denise has created to bring comfort and joy to everyone!

I'm with Richard - I think our lucky break(s) already happened. First, that we got a doctor at our second hospital that referred us to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital for treatment - that place is amazing. Second, that Mackenzie got the heart she needed in such a short amount of time (less than 30 days - pretty unusual for an infant). Third, that her heart valve was able to be repaired as well as it was, preventing, for the time being, any more surgeries. \r\n\r\nRight now my lucky break would be coming into a small, largish chunk of money to pay off all the debts that have been accumulating while we dealt with the last four years. But, we're making it each month. Barely...and we both have jobs and I have great insurance. So, I can't complain...even though I sometimes do.
