Tell Us: What's the Toughest Question You've Asked?

Denise
Like many of you, I have a sibling who walked away when the stress of caring for our parents really intensified. (You can read more in my October blog post called "The Wedding.")

My parents continue to decline and we continue to talk about their reality, that at 88 and 85 we are nearing their end. We've had several conversations about funeral planning and who should get which knick knack. I also recently asked my parents about their wishes to see Sibling at the end of their lives. I asked: "When you are dying and Sibling wants to see you, how do you want me to handle it?"

They both replied, "We have to think about that."

I wonder about the difficult questions you've had to ask. Perhaps you had to ask your caree or a caree's doctor or even a family member. In our comments section, below, please share about the toughest questions you've asked.
