_doveMy Facebook status now reads: "It is with mixed feelings that I share this post. I am saddened to have to say that Richard passed from his physical body this morning. I already miss him. But I am rejoicing in the fact that he is now out of pain and his spirit is free to soar. Thank you for our wonderful time together. Godspeed my love!"

I just needed to inform you all of what’s going on. I sent my mom home. I sent my son home. I need to be alone for a little while and cry and reflect and rest. They’ll both be back later with dinner.

Thank you, my friends here on caregiving.com. I don’t think I could have gotten through the last few months without this site. I'll see you all soon.

Sending comforting thoughts and prayers your way Debbie......

Debbie, I am so sorry Richard's journey here is done and that you will be missing him terribly. What a blessing you were to care for him sacrificially and so lovingly! There will be times of great joy in the memories you both created together after the sadness. May you experience love and support in the next days and weeks to come!

Debbie, I wish much peace and comfort to you and yours. Your care for Richard was filled with love and grace. May you have all the time, space, and support you need through these days.

Debbie may friends, family and faith comfort you at this time.

Debbie--It was such a honor to be a part of this with you. Richard leaves with your love in his heart, leaving behind his love for you. \r\n\r\nWe're all thinking of you and your family. You did an awesome job caring for Richard. I wish you peace.
