CAM00112Saturday: On waking the temperature was 68 F. The high for the day was 79 F. Regular cares today.

Sunday: On waking the temperature was 68 F. The high for the day was 86 F. Regular cares today. For our Sunday get together, we had a birthday party for my friend’s service dog. He turned 14 on July 1. We had brats, hotdogs and hamburgers.

Monday: On waking the temperature was 64 F. The high for the day was 86 F. We had thunderstorms locally with some severe in the northern part of the county. Dialysis today.

Tuesday: On waking the temperature was 67 F. The high for today was 79 F. Regular cares and dentist today (about 60 mile round trip). Had interview for another caregiving position. I have been tentatively hired pending the hours approval by his MCO.

Wednesday: On waking the temperature was 59 F with fog. The high for the day was 78 F. Dialysis today. Went to concert band concert in the park this evening.

Thursday: On waking the temperature was 60 F. The high for the day was 83 F. Dentist trip is second one this week today. Went to folk music concert at the local neighborhood center.

Friday: On waking the temperature was 67 F. The high for the day was 80 F with light rain during the day. Dialysis, laundry and CPR class today. Received paperwork in mail for the position I interviewed for on Tuesday and setup appointment for Monday for all signatures needed.

Saturday: On waking the temperature was 65 F. The high for the day was 71 F. Afternoon rain with street flooding. Regular cares today.

Sunday: On waking the temperature was 63 F. The high for the day was 80 F. Regular cares today. Goulash in was the dish of the day at our friend's get together. Went to Jazz in the Park concert tonight.

Monday: On waking the temperature was 58 F with dense fog. The high for the day was 71 F. Dialysis and chiropractor today. Also met with the repair technician for my friend's power wheelchair. They need to work on it in the community room as there is not room to work on it in his apartment and building rules require him or one of his providers to be with them. Due to his weight there are no chairs in the community room he can sit on.

Tuesday: On waking the temperature was 55 F. The high for the day was 70 F with light scattered rain showers. Podiatry appointment for Mom this morning. Then we had a ride on the La Crosse Queen paddlewheel boat on the Mississippi River with a Chicken Q served on board. I also had to do the legs for my friend as he was going with us and the weekday crew would not work around this trip. When leaving from the park a tie rod broke on the car so had to make alternate arrangements to get Mom home so I could work on getting the car fixed.

Wednesday: On waking the temperature was 54 F. The high for the day was 75 F. Mom had dialysis today with alternate transportation provided by her MCO. Finally got an estimate to fix car late this afternoon of $700.00.

Thursday: On waking the temperature was 53 F. High for day of 77 F. Pushed Mom to her audiology appointment about four blocks. Then pushed her to grocery store about four miles and back. Was on phone looking for funding for car and have hit many dead ends. Pushed Mom to concert at neighborhood center about eight blocks.

Friday: On waking temperature was 62 F. The high for the day was 80 F. Mom went to dialysis by backup transportation provide by her MCO. I took bus to do some other shopping required and to check on some other funding for car. I am to get car back Monday afternoon. I did find funding to help with car repair. Took cart and walked about three miles to the laundry.

Hi Larry--I'm so sorry I'm so slow to comment--I got somewhat behind.\r\n\r\nI find your posts so inspiring. You just keep going. No matter, you just keep going. You are amazing.\r\n\r\nI hope the car is working well and that you've faced the last car repair for the next five years. :) \r\n\r\nThanks so much for being here with us and for all you do.

We have always been family that has had a lot going on and had people working different shifts that we had always just found ways to fit things in so I guess it just make scene that I have kept it up.
