virtual_caregiving_conferenceWe're organizing our sessions for our Virtual Caregiving Conference, which will take place on March 30. Every week, I'll share information about a session.

Pam Thorson, who cares for her son, will share a principle she learned as a nurse which she applies in caring for her son. She'll discuss the principle of “triage,” used in emergency medicine, in my duties as a caregiver.

About Pam:

Pam Thorson is a licensed practical nurse, author, speaker, and full-time caregiver. She and her husband of nearly 42 years have five children and two grandchildren. Pam pioneered in the homeschooling movement in Idaho from 1982-2006. She has cared for their quadriplegic son since his injury in 1997. Her first book, Song in the Night, is the true account of her son’s fight for life after a devastating spinal cord injury. Her second book, Out from the Shadows: 31 Devotions for the Weary Caregiver, is set for release March 28 of this year by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas.

Be sure to register for our March 30 Virtual Caregiving Conference.
