We Break for Winter: With Whom Will You Have Hot Chocolate?

Denise
hot-chocolate-122744_640During our winter break, we’ve been out in the snow the past few days. So, now it’s time to come in for a break and a cup of hot chocolate. And, you get to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with anyone you want. Yes, anyone. Cher, Prince William, your best friend. Anyone.

So, with whom will you drink your cup of hot chocolate? And, what will you talk about?

Share in our comments section for a chance for you to win. I’ll choose a winner to receive autographed copies of my books, The Caregiving Years, Six Stages to a Meaningful Journey and After Caregiving Ends, A Guide to Beginning Again. Congrats to @yolanda, who won yesterday’s books.

I would love to share a cup of Hot Chocolate with Denise! I would hope she would like marshmallows too! I would so enjoy the conversation we could have and meeting face to face would be delightful! Happy Friday!

I would share a cup of Hot Chocolate with my Dad and with my sister if they were still here. I miss them so very much. They both have gone home to Heaven to be with Jesus. I would have a cup of Hot Chocolate with any of my family members whom are alive and doing fine, but they all live far away from me. The One I can have a cup of Hot Chocolate with right now is my Caree, My Mother-in-law.

My 6-year-old granddaughter. I learn so much about myself, and about how to live life, when I'm around children, especially her.

If I could have a cup of hot chocolate with anyone it would have to be my paternal grandmother. If we had a cup of hot chocolate she would have to have toast to dunk in it though. My granny was 73 when I was born, she lived with us, she was the person I trusted most in my life. She was spunky and sassy and sweet. She died at 104 years of age, 6 months before I had my first child. I would talk with my Granny about everything that has happened the past 26 years, I would thank her for loving me and for being the one person who taught me about family, loving and life! I miss my Granny so much!
