Well to my World for the Next Few Weeks

Janet
_happy_mothers_dayHappy Mother's Day to all. Our second full day in the hospital and at least one more and then to at least three weeks of rehab. I hope to get more through her long term care.

I don't know if I wrote how we got to where we are today. We had done really good till Friday when she decided she wanted to be super women on her own and ended up messing her fracture femur. We called 911 and here we are in the hospital.

She has some good moments and then she gets nutty on me. They are changing her medicine but not sure how it will go. We have good doctor so I trust them.

She is sleeping and talking in her sleep; she is afraid we are leaving her in the crazy house.

My hubby leaves tomorrow for North Carolina to open our cabin for the summer. Hopefully after schools ends we can take our nephew up there for a couple weeks.

Little good new at least for me. My only son has finally came back to normal. I had a nice talk with him last night and today so it made my Mother's Day great for me.

A funny story to tell, we own the house my brother lives in and he pays $200 a week for rent. Usually his wife gives me cash and I put it in my purse, in my checkbook. Well this week we are in the front yard so she gave it to my hubby and then he gave it to me. I couldn't for the life of me remember what happened next. I know I brought my nephew in to give him a bath and unwrapped my birthday gift. Well my hubby and I convince myself maybe I threw it away.

I woke up this morning and remember what I had in my hand and found it and there is my money. Hurray! I found something I lost. With my chemo brain and medicine I take, I forget things sometimes. Wish I could find my camera now. I think I was tired Friday night because I didn't get to bed until 2:30 a.m. and was up at 8:30 to spend the day at the hospital. I went to bed at 8:30 last night and slept for 12 hours sound to sleep.

So I know sit here watching TV and watching my mom sleep.

Once again, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
