When Our Days Become Dreary

Lark
The four quotes below are the words of Dr. Martin Luther King.  As I read them I realized that read in the order I placed them they are words any caregiver needs to hear and believe. There is a way out even when our days are filled with despair and we think we cannot go on one more hour. We can be overcomers.  Together we can bind our hearts and our spirits together and "we" can become overcomers.

WHEN OUR DAYS BECOME DREARY....

“When our days become dreary with low-hovering clouds of despair, and when our nights become darker than a thousand midnight's, let us remember that there is a creative force in this universe, working to pull down the gigantic mountains of evil, a power that is able to make a way out of no way and transform dark yesterdays into bright tomorrows.”

“Use me, God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.”

“Find a voice in a whisper.”

“We shall overcome.”
