When You're 100 and I'm 60...

My 10-year-old niece has a plan for caring for her older relatives. I must say it is well thought out.

"Okay," she explains. "When I grow up, I'll retire. Then I'll get a trailer and put it in my parents' back yard. I'll then get a bunch of cats and train them in mathematics, so that way they can help my parents when they get older."

"Sounds like a plan," I say. "But what about me? Will you take care of me when I get older?"

"No."

"You mean Aunt Lisa can't move in with you when she gets older," my brother asks.

"No. She can move in a trailer beside me."

"Will you help take care of me?"

"No. But like with my parents, when you're like 100 and I'm 60 I'll train those cats in mathematics and they'll learn how to calculate to help someone older when they fall."

"Okay, first of all I will not be 100 when you're 60 thankyouverymuch. I'll be 95."

"No no, I was gonna say when you're like 85 and I'm 60 but my parents made me say 100."
