The Caregiving Years Webinar

The Caregiving Years Webinar

Join us for a one-hour overview of The Caregiving Years, Six Stages to a Meaningful Journey, on Tuesday, June 25, at 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. CT, Noon PT).

When you begin to care for a family member, you can feel like you’ve entered a foreign land where you don’t speak the language or understand the customs. In this interactive workshop, we’ll help you navigate the caregiving experience, from when you first worry that a family member needs care to after caregiving ends. We’ll map out your coping strategies, create your decision-making tools and formulate a plan to stay on course.

Denise M. Brown, founder of, developed the The Caregiving Years concept in 1997 and regularly updates it to ensure its relevance. During this webinar, she'll share her insights into the six stages and how you can use them to manage your caregiving experience.

The program objectives are:

1. To educate attendees about the evolution of the caregiving experience, which changes over time.
2. To inform attendees about effective resources they can use within each stage.
3. To provide attendees with a frame work which describes the family caregiver experience so they can be access appropriate support during each caregiving stage.

Register via the form at the bottom of the past. We will not be recording this event but will be offering the workshop regularly going forward.
