Certified Caregiving Facilitator™

Our Certified Caregiving Facilitator™ training program provides you with the skills and tools you need to effectively lead a support group meeting for family caregivers and former family caregivers. You also will gain tools you can use as you communicate with family members about caregiving issues. As a Certified Caregiving Facilitator™, you can:

  • organize and hold caregiving support groups at your house of worship or employer and in your community.
  • communicate more effectively with your family members about caregiving issues.
  • use our proprietary tools to deepen your conversations during your support group meetings and with your family members.
  • connect with other Facilitators to receive support and ideas.
  • list your support group meeting on CareGiving.com.

We've been approved to provide 7 CEUs for:

  • health professionals in Illinois.
  • CCM® board certified case managers.
  • nurses, Certified Senior Advisors® and Certified Dementia Practitioners™ in all 50 states.
  • resource development for professional coaches.

If you'd like to help family caregivers and former family caregivers with strategies, decisions and stress management, our consultant program is right for you. You'll want to consider our program if you'd like to launch your own small business, support your co-workers in the workplace or add more value to your existing caregiving programs offered through your organization.

As a consultant, you can use our Caregiving Tools to connect and serve family caregivers. You also can join our Caregiving Story Project and lead Care and Share™ moveable support group meetings. With our Story Project and Care and Share™, you have two programs that help you immediately connect with family caregivers and prospective clients.

We've been approved to provide 22 CEUs for:

  • health professionals in Illinois.
  • CCM® board certified case managers.
  • nurses, Certified Senior Advisors® and Certified Dementia Practitioners™ in all 50 states.

After you become a Consultant, you can take our next training program to become a Certified Caregiving Educator™. Our training arms you with a turn-key presentation program (The Caregiving Years, Six Stages to a Meaningful Journey) that you deliver as a workshop, seminar or keynote.

When you deliver The Caregiving Years five times within your first year as a CCE and you can add additional presentations to your offering including Building H.O.P.E., a resiliency training program, and The Manager’s Toolbox for Managing a Complex Workplace.
